meet your coaches

Hello, hello! I’m Anita, and I’m so glad we’ve crossed paths.

I've been an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Personal Trainer since 2012. I started out with a background in Exercise Science, receiving my Bachelor's Degree in this specialty. As my personal training career developed, I discovered what vital role nutrition played in my client's ability to reach their goals. This lead me to return to my studies and obtain a Level 1 Precision Nutrition Certification. I also had several clients who became pregnant while I was training them - it’s definitely a perk of the job that you are honored to be one of the first to know about a new pregnancy! I realized I knew very little about pregnancy and the specific changes that were required to be able to coach a client safely through those ~40 weeks of her life. In researching strength training and pregnancy I discovered the Girls Gone Strong Pre and Post-Natal Coaching course which I also completed.

Hi! I’m Deanae.

With a degree in Kinesiology from Acadia University, I have a passion for helping people move better, get stronger, and feel their best. My love for fitness began through playing netball, where I developed an interest in recovery, injury prevention, and performance training. I’ve worked with clients of all ages and abilities, from kids building coordination to adults improving strength and mobility.

I enjoy creating personalized programs that are both effective and motivating, helping each client reach their full potential—whether that means returning from an injury, boosting performance, or building confidence in the gym.

fun facts About Anita

Let’s get to know each other a little better.

I'm a reader - in a dream world, a good historical fiction book would always be found on my nightstand. Book recommendations are always welcome. As long as it’s not Horror I'm game.

I've had the privilege of living in the USA and the UK but I'm so thankful to be living back in Bermuda. There's nothing like taking the dogs for a walk on the beach in the middle of winter.

I STRONGLY dislike running, but running the May 24th Half Marathon derby is on my bucket list.

Friends don’t let friends feel less than amazing.

So, now that we’re friends…
